New member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World
Grand hotel Toplice has become a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. This is the first Slovenian hotel to have become a member of this prestigious hotel brand.
Grand Hotel Toplice is one of the oldest hotels in Bled and one of the most distinguished hotels in all of Slovenia. In the early 1850s, the Luisenbad hotel, the predecessor of the present hotel, was built on the shore of Lake Bled. In 1930 and 1931, this hotel was renovated, expanded and renamed to the Grand Hotel Toplice and it quickly became one of the most exclusive hotels in the then Yugoslavia.
Today, the Grand Hotel Toplice is the only five-star hotel in Bled. Even after thorough renovation works in 2002 and 2003, the hotel preserved its recognizable 1930s style.
